Zeopard Team

The Zeopard Business has evolved as a result of the hard work of a number of people. Our preference is to work with students and newly qualified people, young and old, who bring fresh ideas and perspectives into the business.

We are proud to have given people work experience and challenges that have helped them into their chosen careers.

In 2013 we were one of the first businesses in New Zealand to embrace the Living Wage concept after the publication of data identifying what the living wage figure was in New Zealand. In the days after the research data was first published we gave everyone a pay rise to at least the living wage level. Since then we have increased up to the revised living wage figure.

Past Zeoparders

Our success stories include:

Ben Inivale_______________________________________________________________________

“As a second year business student I began doing accounting and office admin work for Zeopard Law.  Through this work, I gained valuable experience and skills outside of the lecture theatre which was hugely beneficial to my learning and development.  My experience at Zeopard has opened doors for me and since beginning work there I was accepted into the University of Auckland’s BCom(Hons) programme and was successful in applying for a graduate role at PwC, where I now work.

Jennie is a great person to work with.  During my time working with her I was challenged to grow and well looked after (with fish and rugby tickets among other things). Thanks Jennie!”

Hannah Cleaver___________________________________________________________________

“I am in my final semester of studies towards a double degree in business and law (hons) at AUT. During the summer-break of my first year at university I was privileged to have the opportunity to work at Zeopard Law as a research assistant. I worked alongside Jennie Vickers and together we co-published an article for the New Zealand Law Journal. It was a great experience and very rewarding to see the final product published in a law journal! I have since moved on to work as a law research assistant at AUT and company compliance officer at Gilligan Sheppard.

Working at Zeopard law taught me how to think critically and to tackle a research problem from start to finish. It was a rewarding experience I will always be grateful for.”

Jamie Bunting____________________________________________________________________

“After Graduating from my degree in computer graphic design I worked part time at Zeopard. I was involved in a number of projects, which involved everything from graphic design to video production and animation. I learnt a lot and really enjoyed my short time working at Zeopard.

Working at Zeopard gave me essential experience that has helped me get full time work at Paper Plus Group as a graphic designer.”
